I still don't understand how this obvious tax fraud is allowed to continue.

The customer makes a charitable donation.

The company claims it as a donation on their taxes. But that is obviously bullshit. The company didnt make a donation, the customer did. They specifically verbally consented to doing so.

Its blatant, obvious tax fraud, by major corporations. Why has it been allowed to continue?

I agree with you and its why I dont donate to any of those places. Hell, I'd really stop tipping altogether too if I didnt see these people all the time.

But the donations are circled back to the Politicians that support them. We would have to find a way to neuter that if we really wanted to fix it. Walmart donated 1.7 billion last year, which for them is an available and usable tax write off. I'd say theres enough there to kick 0.001% of it back to a two faced Politician. Hell, not even 1% of the write off and you can turn a whole field of Politicians. Never mind all the other entities out there that do this same shit, Kroger, McDonalds, Lowes, etc. A direct political donation is one thing - but we all know theyre just trading stock secrets back and forth. Invest at this time, divest at this time. The "In Play" alerts we plebes get are wayyyy fucking past the point where politicians have already bought in.

But how in the fk could we ever hope to change the system when the whole system is passively for keeping it as is.

I cant stand to be on reddit for more than a few minutes now. Its not the same place it used to be and.. really has fuck all to do with politics. Just something as simple as game reddits used to be informative.. now theyre full of fucking morons asking the stupidest fucking questions. Which the brain diagram surely describes.

But thats just the tip of the ice berg when you start to think about it. Those people mostly had cancer and strokes in that photo. But what about all the brain injuries that have a mile long chart of possible reasons. Anything from head trauma, which is prevalent, to drug use, which is also prevalent. Then we take into account that most peoples diets shouldnt be considered a diet at all because of how nutritionally void it is. Which causes wild swings in hormones, much less slowed / inhibited brain function from that as well.

Medically, we're the healthiest the world has been in probably forever. So how ironic is it that such a good thing, can be twisted towards a bad thing because there are so many people alive now that have serious brain inefficiencies and they are still able to vote and hold sway over the control of all of our lives. For example, did you know someone with Down Syndrome can legally vote in most states? On that same note, would you be at all surprised that there are organizations that clearly align with one political party thats pushing for those laws to change in favor of being eligible to vote in all states? My moms neighbor has a kid with Down Syndrome. He's 16ish? I can tell him to do something and he'll go do it, with no questions asked. I guess he understands that I would never make fun of him or put him in a position of danger. But at the same time, that means I could tell him to vote for someone and he would do that just to stay in my good graces .. (then that fucker would get up in the middle of the night and make a cheese sandwich.) But really, we're fighting for "everyone" ... to vote? Scary thought man.

Shit makes me feel like my old man, concerned about shit I cant directly control. Especially when its something thats just a "cold hard truth" and you look like an asshole.
