Yeah the prices on those carts are ridiculous.
I actually have a Neo Geo AES system. It's definitely impressive graphics wise, but the market for used games is ridiculous ....

Even common games like Magician Lord are $60+

This seems to be a common trend --- some of the most expensive retro games (for all systems) also happen to be the worse playability wise.

Supply and Demand!
Turbo Duo, another system which has seen runaway prices. When I bought my system in 2002, it cost me $75 (shipping included) to have it sent from Japan. Now the system seems to sell around $300+.
Sapphire itself has risen as well -- lastcompleted listingshows it as selling for $420.00. I wonder who's paying these prices....

Holy shit. My uncle had one of those pads. I enjoyed doing the long jump...jogging on the A+B mats, then jumping off the mat, and breaking the game when it says I went over 9999 ft or whatever.This seems to be a common trend --- some of the most expensive retro games (for all systems) also happen to be the worse playability wise.
