First and Foremost we want to apologize to the Transgender community. We have always been strong allies to the LGBT community. We made a poor choice in describing our "Hotdog of the Day" It was highly insensitive and for that we are sorry.
We aren't bigots or transphobes, we never have been and never will be. We meant absolutely no malice. We are good people who made a bad decision in creating and describing our Bruce Jenner Dog of the Day. For those of you who aren't familiar with us, we sell gourmet hotdogs and name them after celebrities. Friday's Dog was the 2nd time we cooked a Bruce Jenner dog, the first was during the "Olympic Hero Week" We create dogs based on current events in pop culture.
As we stated before, This dog was a tribute to Bruce and we donated 100% of the proceeds to The Heartland Trans Wellness Fund. We think Bruce is Incredibly courageous and his decision to transition will hopefully give others the strength to do the same.
We would never want to hurt anyone for the sake of selling a hotdog.

When I was there two weeks ago the hot dog of the day was the Leveon Bell. I asked if it came with a pound of weed on it. It did not.
