Seen plenty of cars with damaged paint due to a bra being on it for so long.
A couple of other reasons of why not just use a bra? As someone said, they are fucking ugly and as such just aren't as in demand any longer making them difficult/impossible to find for your model. And the other reason, since the mention of taping it came up when ppl travel w/ their cars for auto shows, the majority of those cars are going to have custom spoilers/grilles/lights/etc and as such you're not going to find a custom fitted bra for your vehicle.
