I dunno, that sounds a lot like someone writing red-pill propaganda, since it uses broken logic. No state gives family court leave to simply decide any random person has "accepted a fatherly role". You have to have willingly accepted them, they cannot be thrust upon you. That test comes up as part of a divorce, when the child isn't biologically yours but you've been raising them as your own and providing financial support. It's a term with a specific meaning, often ignored in propaganda.
