Bit disingenuous there -- they didn't sue because he didn't make the cut at tryouts, they sued because the school has a policy of allowing girl juniors to play on the girls JV team, but does not allow junior boys to play on the boys JV team. The restraining order was denied, but the case wasn't dismissed, as they can articulate an argument for possible equal protection violation.

A NES would cost around $467.80 today, games would be around $116.95. Seems kinda crazy that entertainment gets better and cheaper while education and healthcare get more expensive and of a lower quality *compared to the rest of the world*.
