I remember listening to him mention that on a podcast; he actually made a great point that there's plenty of guys in the show who live in areas that are supposed to have scarce food and yet they're able to maintain these big muscular physiques.

Without having seen that show yet, Goblin Slayer is a pretty fucking brutal manga.
