When did I say they were equal? I can see how equating it to Jews escaping during the holocaust is some hyperbole. But it does supply context to the situation, which is people fleeing dire straits in their home country. What I was getting at is that the headline he provided perked my ears up quite a bit, and after I looked it up for myself, I wanted to supply the tweet the headline was referencing.
