I have a friend who was driving on the highway. He was cut off by someone merging. My friend proceeded to honk at him letting him know they were about to hit one another. The next thing he knew was there was a loud popping / burning sound. And a light so bright that he momentarily went blind. And the guy sped off. Thankfully my friend was able to see before he went off road.
