Been a really long time since i fired one, but I don't believe it has any kind of safety (and if it does, it's similar to the 50 cal where it's just pressing up on a little knobby thing under the butterfly). Once it's loaded, it's basically "go time." Bump into it and grenades are probably heading down range.Re: Mk19
I might have posted this before on FoH. The unit that relieved us had something like 6 negligent discharges in the first week they were with us during the RIP. One was with the MK19. I'm genuinely unsure how you pull that off.
