The child porn thing might very well have been a straw man as you say. Problem is every time I get on this site, I see that people have had stuff pulled. Someone mentions CP or something else objectionable and I never actually see any of it, only read that it was there. If it actually never happened, then all I did by stating that CP is never acceptable was state the obvious. For that I apologize.
I still find the "I post what I want" arguments to be lacking in something other than pretentiousness, and the desire to push your rights just because you can and because it upsets other people. Have I done shit like that before? Sure... when I was in 3rd grade. Alas that seems to be the overall mentality here.
