Edit: I feel like this is incredibly condescending to the troops that actually stormed Normandy. I mean, they're both risking their lives, but the death rate was quite a bit higher, and I don't know if suffocating, passing out and dying (or really, 97.1% surviving) is really comparable to getting mowed down by machine gun or sniper fire. Fortunately there's only like one dude still alive from that experience and I'm not gonna get upset for them.
