This has been recirculated on the internet for a long time after it was totally refuted.
The photo was from a BBC documentary Frozen Planet in 2011. The actual documentary didn't state anything like this. It specifically stated that the pack moved single file through the snow to save energy, and the dominant female was leading the pack to cut the snow as they are typically the strongest. But of course attributing human characteristics to it as some sort of moral lesson is just what Karen's on FB like to do.
