this first pic looks exactly like the one I played on pre-Hurricane Alicia except it looked faded like the second pic. After the hurricane, some trees fell on it, so it looked like the second pic; only the rocket left. This was in Highlands, Texas in 1984.

This same thing was at Vandergriff park in Arlington,TX in 1984.
