Turkey... When I was in Istanbul, saw so many stray cats. But, like everyone feeds and treats them, they don't look sick or malnourished. They rule that city.
In Athens, it's the same thing but with dogs. Unfortunately due to the eurozone crisis, this has been a problem in the city

I was last in Athens in October-- one week, the city was filled with cats (not as well tended to as on the islands or in Turkey), then they were all gone. I heard that in mid October they euthanize tens of thousands of cats.

There is a film about some of the cats of Istabul--

Loved when someone else would go through and criticize my sloppy work, completely ignoring the fact that the entirety of the code was rewritten sitting outside on a curb w/ my laptop during commissioning. Like c'mon Lance, you should be impressed this pile of shit is even functioning, there's no budget left to go back and clean this garbage up and I wouldn't want to touch something after I've left site anyway. The customer is happy, leave me alone.
