Reading The Cat in the Hat to my kid a lot lately, and the cat really feels like an allegory for Trump (from a leftist's point of view). Comes in uninvited when kid's parents aren't home, shows off, makes a mess, brings in two "things" that don't exist, cleans up his mess using a machine, questions if the kids are going to tell the truth about him, then leaves before the parents come home.
