Also rewatched Total Recall, the good one not the retarded shit remake, and you know what it still holds up even though Arnold is now a commie piece of shit who hates freedom.

Hackers was about hackers stopping some blackmailing hackers from causing an ecological disaster. Rewatching it a few weeks ago its like a proto modern globohomo propaganda movie. About social justice(saving the environment), endless diversity(tranny puerto rican, black head of secret service, black superhacker) social misfits fighting the man(hackers). But it still has some archetypes from its time, like Tony Soprano's shrink being a dumb woman who knows nothing about anything and main character dreaming about Angelina Jolie throwing herself at him.
Johnny Mnemonic was about Neo uploading data into his head and working with Ice-T to save the world from electronic aids.
