Uh, what does Far Cry 6 have to do with Star Wars and Disney? While I agree about that time period being much happier for the SW universe compared to the SJW-ridden shitfest some people at Disney have been (mostly) turning it into, I think it was probably a good move to get rid of the whole package of "Legends" and pick back up whatever is interesting from it, it was getting really out of hand around the Yuuzhan Vong era, and the quality was seriously dropping too.
Even the image you provide in your post is a character that was not only picked back up by Disney but was also pretty well-treated (still getting books, and quite faithful representation in Rebels, and mentioned in Mandalorian, probably set to appear in Ahsoka series). They've also picked up other cool tidbits of the old Legends lore (like Darth Revan, Darth Nihilus or Darth Bane being canon, among other things like the Interdictor crusiers or the TIE Defender).
I disagree with a lot of moves Disney and Kennedy in particular have made, but the dumping of some of the Legends content wasn't a bad move.
I agree and disagree with this statement. Dumping the expanded universe showed an amazing lack of respect for the fan base who stayed with the franchise and actually LEARNED the history. As someone who learned Star Wars history, I understand WHY they dumped it. Chewy was dead, Leia became a jedi, Jacin and Anakin Solo were dead, there was SO much ground to cover that you would have to have a trilogy of flashbacks just to cover it. Ii would have taken someone very creative to pick up with the EU intact with more focus on story vs merch opportunities.

As a HUGE fan of the expanded universe, I could not agree more. They fucked the whole franchise up with TLJ. That was when I just said, well...... I have 6 decent movies to watch

There was an annual event where they had a group or two out playing while they were miked up at all times.
I would have agreed with you but watching the Clone Wars made the prequels suck less for me. They still don't hold a candle to the originals but I normally start with Episode 2 when I do a marathon but every now and then, I watch Episode 1 hehe. No, you do not.
You have three.
Rogue One was nothing more than a member berries shakedown.
