my last car was recently totaled out and because of supply chain nonsense a new 2022 cost me just dollars more than a used of the same make and model. First new car, First car as... connected as this one. Half the entertainment console is garbage and/or monthly sub items. Including SiriusXM with a month trial. I never activated it, it's been years since I listened to something I didn't have downloaded. mp3s, podcasts, whatever. Was reading on the boards on how much of a shitberg some people had trying to cancel after the used the free trial or otherwise were looped into the monthly charge

It blows me away that radio is still a thing. The 2 song and 20 minutes of commercials format got old in the 90s. You'd think with streaming platforms and podcasts that radio would be dead.I dont/didnt understand the big deal people were making about this when it came out. If the owner is complaining, he's a dumb ass. He spent at minimum 43.9 before taxes and didnt spring for the extra 534 dollar option. The region elected to go without the option, likely because of the chip shortage so they could have more inventory and less hold ups for something so minor. The cluster and display probably come from another region that mass produces them for the brand. I guess Audi should feel bad for not spending the extra money on a feature they consider standard in most other regions to create a blank button to protect the guys "feelings."
As for XM/Sirius Radio, or any other bullshit - ya, fk that noise.
