BULLSHIT
The $20k in value. The tree being over 300 or the additional $20,000 in property value?
I have heard of customers paying $500-$2000 to replace young Japanese Maples. If I were financially able to, I wouldn’t hesitate to pay an extra $20,000 for a 300 year old tree.
When I get back to Dallas, I’ll take a pic of a tree in the neighborhood my ex lives in. That tree is over 100 years old and this tree dwarfs that one. I do not doubt their claim.
