Tonight's spread, and not a single kid has knocked on the door. Probably because a couple blocks down, unbeknownst to me, they threw a "Halloween carnival" on Saturday.

This is my first time ever having trick or treaters over. Probably went a little overboard on the candy, but I didn’t want to be a dick house. Was a bit worried since there were two big trunk of treat events over the weekend and the rain starting coming in the evening, but we ended up with a good amount of kids. One kid gave a very enthusiastic “whoa!” when I handed over his fistful of candy. Husband looked at me like I was crazy. Apparently when he was a kid, he only got one piece of candy per house, and maybe sometimes just a single penny. Stingy fucks.

There were tons of kids out here last night, much more than in post years. If anything I'd say it's on a big upswing.View attachment 440851

Gave these out this year.
Had 3 kids come by.
Guess Halloween for kids is dead in the USA. But in South Korea it's for dead kids...
Because everyone does this shit now. It's called Trunk Or Treat and my sister and neighbors all did this. Its like a flash mob carnival kind of thing rather than let the pipsqueaks go around the neighborhood. I had like 5 trick or treaters in a neighborhood full of kids this year.View attachment 440851

I wish to see the aftermath. The revolver is still "functional," so it has the option of firing more than one shot, if it somehow survives the first.

After a year of getting the used needle trap ready:
