Thats HMS Eagle. My grandfather was airgroup commander on the Eagle about the time the Fairey Flycatchers (the plane in the picture) went out of service. :)

Whoops, forgot which thread I was in.

His final posting before retirement was as the commander of a seaplane base flying these things- Sunderland flying boats as they wound down after the end of the war.
