Honest to god, debating finding a picture for this response...

If you NEED this, then I would rather you not drive. The only alternative to the lights we have in the US that I would find acceptable is a progress bar for each light color but asshats would fuck that up in seconds of it being built.

The main reason I would want this isn't for me, it's for about half the other drivers on the road. Where I used to live, I'd have said 90%.
