While I agree with you, I can also sort of understand her stance. I mean this is a young woman who has worked all her life at her sport, and to be put in a position to decide at that moment to not race and take a stand, was a lot to ask. In hindsight it's possible she wishes she would have done that. Then again, unless all the women did it, it wouldn't have had the same effect. Just having 1 person protest would have given the media to fodder to attack her. Anyway, sorry for the politics!Where was her outrage when she was actually competing?
