They're so completely disconnected from history and they can't fathom the amount of work that painting represents. To them that's an oversized picture you could order from the internet but it's really hundreds of hours working mostly from memory, where if you fuck it up too much it's basically a do over. It's sad, the further we go down the technology pipeline the less we respect what came before it. The Night Watch is huge, 12x14 feet, being in front of that thing was awe inspiring.

I was accused of Toxic Masculinity a few years ago just because I kept my office at 66 degrees. Its strange, cause half the shit I see as Toxic Masculinity doesnt fucking matter if you arent fucking with the so-called "toxic male" in question. AKA "Leave people the fuck alone." Oh, are you cold? How about you recognize Im wearing a fucking sports jacket, button up shirt, and tie all because the owner of the fucking place thinks we're still in the 1940's! Stupid bitch.

Ahh but fuck it - that place taught me how to dress.
