New stealth destroyer turned over to U.S. Navy - CNNPolitics.com

Capt. James Kirkjust got the keys to the baddest ship in the fleet -- U.S. Navy's fleet, not Starfleet.
The ship is the future USS Zumwalt, the first of the Navy's newest class of destroyers, and contractor General Dynamics turned it over to the Navy on Friday at Bath Iron Works in Maine.

That thing cost like 7 billion dollars and is a decade behind schedule.

The F-35 is +$170 Billion over budget, so G.E. needs to get crackin (or sinking) if they are going to win this fight!
