Back in the day a friend of mine spent 6 months and $15k turning a 1970 El Camino into a Street / Strip Hot Rod. It was gorgeous ( for an ugly El Camino).

A little too much pedal on the very first corner leaving his house and he put it right into a wall. We pushed it back to his house for 6 more months of work.
