Horizon: Zero Dawn is $19.99 at amazon, gamestop, best buy, and i think target and walmart this week. HOWEVER, the DLC is an additional $14.99 (digital). OR you can wait until Dec 5th when the GOTY edition is gonna be released on disc for $49.99, that week should also see a b2g1f sale at best buy.
Unfortunately the base game is still $39.99 on the PSN store although I suspect it'll drop to $19.99 later this week, and I think thats the best option - buy it for $19.99 plus the DLC later if you like the base game.

Warframe, Rainbowsix:seige, Overwatch, GTA:Online, Destiny 2, pubg.
What in the fuck?
how the hell is destiny 2 and pubg even nominated for that category? one is fucking Early access, and the other has been out what, 2 months? with exactly what new content? 1 dlc pack on the way?
how is path of exile not holding that category in total lockdown? never mind, nominated..
LoL, hearthstone, Heroes of the storm, all find nominations. rimworld, cities:skylines, etc...

Award shows are shit, regardless of the kind.
Similar to watching the Grammy's and actually expecting good music to be chosen. I bet all these fuckers voting have probably played two games this whole year. So they'll pick Zelda cause you don't want the wrath of those nerds, and Destiny in whatever category, because a stale-sub par, pseudo MMO is the newest cool shit ever (what are computers, never heard of them).

There's been rumblings around the Internet for the past couple months that Rocksteady may be getting close to announcing something, and they've debuted trailers at the VGAs before (although no full game announcements, to my knowledge). Not enough to call it anything like a certainty, but I do think there's at least a chance we'll hear from them here.

I don't remember which stream was "better" last year, I do remember one of them being 1-2 seconds ahead of the other.
Also both PSN and xbox have put up sales on games up for awards and stuff, some fantastic deals.

Will be interesting to see how FOH picks match up to the winners, I have a feeling Divinity Original Sin 2 will be snubbed completely and its #2 on our goty list. I'm pretty confident though that BOTW will sweep most of the awards its in, everyone who loves nintendo swarms around that while fans of other genres/platforms split up among D:OS, HZD, Persona, etc.

I think pretty much everybody is expecting a Zelda sweep. And it's a fucking masterpiece so I won't say it doesn't deserve it, but this is a really shitty year for a series with the critical gravitas of Zelda to release such a stellar entry, because there's half a dozen games released in 2017 that would wreck your average goty winners any other year and one (P5) that I'd like to straight up win.
