I thought this game was cross buy. I bought the xbox one version and there is no code to play on PC? Do you even need a code or do you have to play on xbox one before you can play on pc?

BF ordered the big collector's edition which came in today. The statue's pretty cool. Sorry for the shitty phone pic. I only played the remastered version in co-op. Wasn't into it at first, but it grew on me. Looking forward to playing co-op again.

cross play is only digital. you have to run the windows 10 store on your PC, search for gears of war 4, and download it. has to be the same account as your xbox one, but if you use a diff email on windows not a big deal just click the little person icon on the top right of the win 10 store and login as your xbox account, you can have "both" active in win10. only ultimate edition orders get access today, regular digital and physical orders can't play until tuesday

Going to get a digital copy of gears of war 4 from GPU purchase. Not thinking I'm going to want to play it enough vs selling. Something like $30 sound good?

It was really fun coopting campaign but ended really suddenly. It felt like it should of had one more act or condensed act 1 and 2 for a longer act 3,4 or 5.

I got Microsoft Game Pass to play the new Gears 5 and 4 was on it for free as well. I decided to play this first to keep up with the story. The game is total shit.

It is just one cover/shoot room after the other and every enemy in the game is a bullet sponge. Then, when you run up into a boss, it will eat your entire clip of bullets. Death is pretty meaningless because your NPC squadmates will have you revived before you even hit the ground.

It's a 2/5 stars game.

gears of war 5 is way better than GOW4 and as you said, the story in 4 is pretty dumb and really just boils down to "the bad guys came back after 20 years in a slightly different format and your squadmate is the granddaughter of their queen"

I played on Xbox with sukik sukik .
I thought the gunplay was very good and it’s probably the best horde mode in the entire series.

There is still horrible connection issues causing you to drop out of a game which is a huge problem.

The game is very easy. I started to play it on insanity. I have already beat two acts and it’s not too bad but more of a challenge.

I think my biggest gripe is the open world stuff. Sometimes a linear experience is better.

It’s story was better than 4 but that’s not saying much. Beautiful looking game @ 4k 60FPS.

I’ll give it a 8/10. I had a blast playing coop with friends. Game is not nearly as fun solo as with most games.

Looking for games I've missed playing for one reason or another I found that "xbox live sub" in windows store was like 1 dollar for a month. With that I could play GoW4, but wtf is up with 133.7GB download for this game...
