I live in Dallas, and WAY back when I was a kid there was this underground market that met once a month (first Saturday, maybe?) at like midnight in a shady part of town. Folks would come out with tables and shit to sell stuff-- hardware, software, etc. It was where you went to find Linux distros both popular and fan-made, and also a slew of software that had been cracked, burned to disc, and bagged in those plastic sandwich bags. You could even buy the cracking software. lol
