I think she pretty obviously has something planned on the Tyrel (spelling?) house level. I mean Sansa told her and her grandmother that Joff is a cunt. They seemed dissapointed but understood they still have to wed. Gotta be up to something.

Yeah whatever. I think you could say, "Who the fuck is that?" to:
The whore following around littlefinger.
The dude telling Robb he lost the war when he married that average looking nurse.
Semly Barristan
etc

and you wouldn't be alone.
Talking to Tarrant is a complete waste of time. In every thread he makes some retarded statement, then plants a flag on it and argues it to the end of time.

With a name like Queen of Thorns, you would think she is one prickly bitch and has all her bases covered. That whole scene with the three of them was one of the best from the episode plot wise. Shows that Margery and Olenna are on the same page, and Loras and his father are the fools on the outside. I could be wrong about Loras though

It's a sound theory, it just doesn't make sense to me that he'd allow a civil war because two teenagers might be better rulers than Tywin fucking lannister.

Were all the Targaryans Augustus Caesars and Queen Victorias with exception to the mad king?

I think it was 50/50. Either great leaders or insane maniacs.

Yeah I can see that. I was told when the series first came on to literally pay close attention to every single character that is shown or that talks. I guess I never took that into consideration.

I had no problem following the whore or the ultra-ninja ex-kingsguard Selmy, but I still don't know who the fuck that dude downplaying Robb all the time is. I know his son got killed by Jaime, but who is he again? Why should I care about him?

I think the casting has been pretty spot on for the most part. I am not feeling Mance Rayder though. That may be more the result of the writing than anything else yet, we'll see how he develops.

I think the show is very good, but I also think there are a lot of fanboys over-apologetic of things as well. There are some scenes that have some pretty bad writing (Catelyn scene, Shae/Tyrion scene) that I think would get a whole lot more flack if the show wasn't called Game of Thrones. Catelyn Stark is basically a different character now, which is fine but one wonders how that's going to play out as the show keeps going, in particular when it comes to RW and Un-Catelyn. The show is also running into it's biggest issue and that is that there is so many characters with so many story arcs that it is impossible to give them the proper handling on tv. Example, it's never explained how the reeds show up, they are just 'there'. And the show has to skip all that, because they never introduced the Reeds at Winterfell. Arya also gets shortchanged as a whole bunch gets skipped with her and Dondarrion's crew (looks like no Harwin either).

The crossbow scene with Joffery and Margaery was nice. She is such a hot little piece of ass and seems to be more then willing to do whatever freaky shit gets her man off. When she asked if he "would enjoy watching her kill something" I thought to myself that I had found the perfect girl. She's the type of woman that wars are fought over.
I'm certain she doesn't really want to do that, she's trying to manipulate Joffery to win in her private fight with Cersei.

I got the impression that the kingdom Marg and her mom are from is more Matriarchal where the women are running things. My impression is Marg is expecting to eventually be the power behind(or on) the throne.

yeah I noticed that he shot a boar, I have no idea if that was the boar though.

Shooting it between the eyes from the hip was pretty boss, not going to lie. With his character it seemed more likely he'd shoot it and it'd hit the wall and deflect a piece of rock into his nuts

Lord Karstark, he is a bannerman to Lord Stark (Ned, and now Rob), so he is seems to be an adviser/sits on the war council as a high lord. For some reason I think he is related to the Starks, but not sure. I have the same concern when it comes to why I should care about him, he just seems like a cranky old fuck. Also im pretty pissed off they got rid of GreatJon (not sure if they cut him out or Clive Mantle had other commitments, damn is he a great actor in every show he is in)

Lady Olenna Tyrell/Queen of Thorns is Margaery's grandmother. Lady Tyrell even said that she over-watches her son's ruling of Highgarden because he is an idiot.
