Enough whining about where Euron got all those ships. Varys has a for real teleporter I swear. That guy has more frequent flyer miles than the whole cast combined.

HEY HEY are you trying to say D&D don't have vision pal?

They killed the 2 busted sand snakes. Only hot MILF Dornish goodness + offspring remains. Little credit please.
I hate that Dornish woman, every one of them but the hot tits one. Every single one of them suck so bad.

At this point I'm just hoping the finale is the entire female cast working for Littlefinger in his new whore house, show ends with massive orgy.

At least I could stop rolling my eyes long enough to watch.

Think we've sort of got a translation on what D&D meant by every episode is "full speed".

It means 1 plot development for 60 minutes worth of time. With 50 minutes of rather sluggish and boring exposition to establish plot. SJW's may have robbed us of sexposition, but we still got to see a nice hourglass on Missandei-- before GW having a potential erection broke my immersion and everyone went soft..

UNLESS THEY WERE SCISSORING.

Better than Season 6 thus far? mmmm I don't know, Littlefinger had Jon Snow's hand around his throat..

mmmmm I'll get back to you....

Eurons biggest problem is he is now a major plot hinge and he has only had 10 mins of screen time total. Everything in his arc is fucking hollow. The books being incomplete is showing how fucking lazy the staff writing is, they had years to flesh out the unfinished pieces.

the problem is just as much GRRM's bloated writing, and the TV series trying to salvage an already sunken ship. the problem has in large part been the introduction of more and more characters and not getting to the finish line. Euron in the book is just as much of a shoe-in the books as in the TV-series, the end-game has always been the others and that war. Ramsay, Euron and Cersei are just roadblocks now, which the TV series at least seems to try to deal with swiftly, but has probably caused GRRM to have to add another book that will never be released to the series.

Stannis told Sam about dragon glass under dragonstone?

Didn't Qyburn take over the "little birds" spy network that Varys had going? I'd assume that's how he'd get his info on the dragons.
just because varys isnt there anymore doesnt mean qyburn has all his connections. yeah he can bribe the street children to collect infos and do certain things around KL, but thats not the same thing as having a man in Mereen sending back l33t raid sekrits.

Battle wasn't all that exciting, it had a certain inevitability to it with Euron appearing out of nowhere (lol stealth ship) and shrugging off injuries left and right during the fighting. Dumb as they are, the sand snakes are supposed to be really skilled fighters (they had a long fight with Bronn, who's also really good) so there should have been some more to that battle. Would have liked to see a naval battle (giving some more time to build up Euron as a character and show his skill in battle) followed by a fight after Euron boards Yara's ship by some clever tactic. Sand snakes could have died on a sinking ship or something.

I'm so glad the pirate battle broke up the oncoming lesbian scene between the Dornish cunt and that Swamp Donkey. Christ, that would have been disgusting to watch.

I did say "supposed to be" :)

We haven't seen enough of Euron for him to swoop in out of the blue and kill some more important characters (they've had a lot more screentime than he has). For a character's death to have any emotional meaning behind it, we have to be invested in them somewhat, and whoever kills them needs to be built up to be worthy of killing them. It's a basic element of good storytelling.

Basically the same problem as when Barristan Selmy died to some random thugs. Unsatisfying, even if he did have a better fight scene.

"It's not you (who's changed, it's me.)"
She was smiling before she said It's not you. At first, she was confused because Nymeria didn't follow, but then she smiled (understanding her), saying it's not you. I took this to mean that it isn't Nymeria to be a follower any longer, just like Arya is now not a follower either.

Did anyone else notice the way Jon went after Little Finger? LF has always come out ahead when someone is going against him. I hope this doesn't happen against Jon, in some way. But with GRRM, who can be sure. But LF is definitely up to his old tricks.

Yes, Littlefinger has been a fumbling bumbling idiot since season 6. He is going to need a big play to redeem the character. I'm hoping the throat grab has some nuance to it for finally moving Littlefinger out of the failed cuck lane he's been driven into by D&D without the books.

Another possibly nuanced scene is the Ellaria and Yara kiss. Yara is the alpha cat, yet she is clearly being dominated there 100%.

Where does that go with 5-6 Episodes left? I don't know but it would be pretty cool if it wasn't just another throwaway Dorne scene and the nuance had some future plot implications.

I just know that domination is out of character for Yara to receive. If Yara and Ellaria are delivered to Cercei, is that the end of them? Where do they go from King's Landing plot wise? Are both of them executed by Cercei? Is only Ellaria slated for execution? (Another empty Dorne appearance and empty Dorne death *yawn*) That would be very very linear, as kalid or someone mentioned earlier, everything could be linear. But I love reading predictions otherwise!

Maybe Yara is going to save Ellaria from execution. Yara is pardoned/free with Eurons support, Yara then saves Ellaria and helps her escape...because....She remembered THAT ONE KISS and the one time another woman put the moves on her, and not the other way around.

Even basic predictions on how this plays out beat talking about ships again for another fucking 10 pages. Week to week it keeps happening. Its a show, its fake we get it. Fuck the fucking ships.

There's definitely some parallels to Ned choking Littlefinger in S1. Jon is not being smart and is underestimating Littlefinger. He's threatening him yet leaving him there with Sansa. Don't hurt my sister while I go away for a few months and you stay here with her...
I think LF's was just fishing for an angle to drive a wedge between Jon and Sansa. I thought he was going to do the reveal about Jon's parentage to him there; maybe he was but then decided to hold off on it and is going to tell Sansa instead (he's made some implications about it to her before).
He's probably got a good idea of how to work Sansa already and the opportunity is rising (when Jon tells Sansa she's in charge until his return, after Sansa's reaction they immediately cut to Littlefinger subtly smirking)

Wouldn't say she was dominated, she's certainly telegraphing her interest (as she did with Dany) but you are right in that Elaria is the one making the moves. We've seen most characters from Dorne are very unrestrained sexually (not just Elaria but also Oberyn and Titty Snake) so it does fit the character. Not sure if it will play out the way you said, but I do think Yara's bisexuality will play some role in the plot yet.

How would he know about that?

His silence after Sansa says Rhaegar raped Lyanna is telling.
