I hope the fade to black of that episode is Arya taking the shot to the head and looking like she died as well. They need to troll the shit out of that, just like Martin did in the books.

So if RW is episode 9, how is Littlefinger going to stay in King's Landing until Joffrey is dead, smuggle Sansa to the Eyrie, reveal his hand in Jon Arryn's / Joffrey's deaths, and kill Lysa all in the finale?

That's all happening next season. Remember, they are splitting book 3 into two seasons for TV.

As for Littlefinger: he's going to appear to have sailed away on his ship sometime this season. When Sansa is smuggled out by an ally next season in the commotion of Joffrey's wedding, he will reveal that he has actually stayed behind.

My guess for the big finale of Episode 10 is Styr's raid of the Wall and Ygritte's death being the fade to black jimmy rustler.

The number one thing about the Red Wedding that stood out to me is how Caetlyn completely loses her shit, clawing up her own face etc... Do you guys think they'll go that route? It seems like it would visually be too brutal even for HBO, but, that followed by her throat being cut would make for one hell of a fade to black season finale.
They should, it adds plenty to the scene and is central to the character (slitting the fool's throat), but then they cut the brutality out of the NW's situation despite the importance there.

This episode was wonderful.

The fact that this show is only an hour long and 10 episodes a season is a goddamned crime against humanity. It needs to be twice that at least.

I imagine they will let her speak on the TV show, although they will probably make it seem very difficult for her.

About the Wildlings. They are marching towards the Wall in hopes of fleeing the White Walkers, right? If so, what was up with the scene where the fat Night Watch guy see's an army of undead walk right past him, with some badass mounted zombie with blue eyes glare at him? This was around the Fist of the First Men (I think), which was south of the Wildling horde. Is there some other massive army of undead much further north?
