Sansa had front-row seats to what the game of thrones does to people. Cersei was sort of right, when you play the game of thrones you win or you die. Except nobody wins.
If I actually thought there were any good writers still involved, I would have thought Sansa's initial mistrust/dislike of Daenerys was because Sansa thinks anyone who chases the throne is a fucking idiot.

There is some wild theory out there about how Drogon went and had dragon babies when he disappeared during season 4 or 5 and Dany told Daario I think that she had no idea where he was.
This is batshit insane of course but is backed up by some maester someone quote that said dragons could change their sex like the flickering flame.

I'm starting to think that this theory isn't completely nuts. Drogon flies overhead when Jorah and Tyrion are sailing through Old Valyria, indicating that it's where he was during his period of absence. Old Valyria being the source of tamed dragons to begin with, along with the return of magic/dragons to the world due to he and his brothers being born could possibly have awakened some dormant eggs that survived The Doom of Valyria. If he mated with a female dragon there...

Gav, i consider you one of the better autists in this thread. If you forgot the scene where tyrion got his first glimpse at a dragon, none of these diversity hire faggot writers will ever remember it. That whole scene was just visual eye candy to stick in a trailer.

I'm actually a bit blank on anything after season 2, I read the books between seasons 2 and 3 and they soured me on wanting to keep watching the show. I eventually started watching again but very little sticks any more.
Wasn't Drogon flying overhead the distraction that got Jorah infected with grayscale?

It happens right before they get attacked, but it was an ambush anyways so it was going to happen either way.
And I forgot about it too until watching the episode tonight and thinking about the theory when he showed up.
The quality of the show (writing especially) dropped off a cliff with season 5 compared to the earlier seasons. It's a shocking difference when marathoning it with a critical eye. It's just more apparent this season because they have even fewer episodes to fit shit in, and the expectations are higher near the end.

the books consistently hammer that ramsay is more of a malicious brute and that Roose is far more cunning and the real danger. I really hope Ramsay killing roose doesn't happen in the books, although I've seen some speculation that's one of the milestones given to D&D by GRRM.

At least we can get this retard into a good permanent home to basketweave in 9 days. Was thinking about it, the show runners really seem to hate emilia clarke. Her character has been doing all tbe shit jobs for years and right before the end they turn her into a dumbfuck. Forgetting about fleets. Not seeing them. Continually choosing terrible strategic plans and losing everything she built up
Including 2 thirds of her dragons, then they stick a starbucks cup in front of her and play crazy bitch music over her simply sitting quietly.
I dont really mind too much because she isnt really a good actress, but she must have pissed in some higher up cheerios for her to be getting this treatment.
