lol Fedor, such a cunt... Posting Bolton and the sword he probably stabs Robb with in the non-spoiler thread? Sheesh.

Yeah just funny that he's treading as close as possible while still following the rules.

I'm actually pretty happy that no one is talking about it. The GoT non-spoiler thread is eerily quiet, and good thing. Anyone who treads anywhere near it is getting fucked up.

Everyone knows that episode 9 is always the good shit so I think TV-only watchers are trying to avoid as much discussion as they can.

I don't think anyone could possibly expect what is about to go down. Something maybe, but not this.

My wife expects it, but it's only because someone on her FB mentioned something about a "red wedding" and she (like every other non-book reader I suppose) discerned the intent behind Melisandre saying Robb's name while killing the leaches in episode 8. I tried to throw her off the trail by telling her that Lannister colors are red and gold, red is also the color of the fire god, etc. "Just because it's a red wedding doesn't mean it's going to be a slaughter like you think it will be."

I don't think she bought it =/ Fucking internet and douchey people spoiling shit.

Subtle.

"Just because it's called the Red Wedding doesn't mean Walder Frey will betray his liege lord and throw in with the Lannisters at Edmure's wedding and slaughter Rob and Catelyn and half his army while Arya is outside and the Hound knocks her out to get away!"

Putting Cersei in the statement will really throw them off!

a non-book reader who somehow gets early access to shows before they air over at imdb posted about the episode. He didn't spoil the episode but he said "what happens in the last few minutes of the episode rivals ned stark's execution in sheer shock value"

Only rivals? How is that even remotely possible?

It's a head above Ned's execution. The women watching will likely claw their eyes out in dismay at the horror.

considering how little time has been dedicated to robb/cat's story this season I'm surprised that a non-book reader even put it in the same category as Ned's tbh. Remember that people who've only watched the show were under the impression that the show was about Ned Stark, that he was the main character, and did not expect that to happen. It's the same for people reading book 1 for the first time. I'm pleasantly surprised by this report tbh. They must have done the scene very well, though I doubt very much it will meet book purist's unrealistic expectations.

For example: Cat's internal monologue as her mind snaps and she goes insane and begins clawing her own face off. If you expect that to happen on TV without the aid of said internal monologue (and no, they won't have her just say those lines instead) then expect to be disappointed.
