Despite all the hard-ons for the pseduo-viking aspects, there was a fuckton of filler in 4 and 5. The very fact they are essentially trimming all of Tyrion's road/river to nowhere fat is a good thing. We know he gets to Dany based on promo images, so we are saved from all the Penny/River/slave subplots.

I disagree. As far as we know Aegon could potentially be a very large part of the story going forward. Maybe they'll still introduce him at a later point, but I really don't like that they have cut him out completely.

Dat Wakandan was a red herring the whole time, you could tell that even when reading the damn books.

Cool map I found:
Westeros and Essos.jpg

The proportions are a bit off, but it's still neat. Can you name all the kingdoms in Westeros?

I'm still holding out hope goddamnit! Last seen in the books he is taking an army to capture Dragonstone, and having Varys in his corner makes him a force to be reckoned with.

Also this quote makes him seem like he has a lot bigger part to play than just getting crushed against a wall as a baby:

The prince that was promised is first mentioned in the House of the Undying when Daenerys Targaryen sees a vision of her brother, Rhaegar, who names his son Aegon, and says, ?He is the prince that was promised, and his is the song of ice and fire.?

Rhaegar looks up as he says those words, his eyes meeting Daenerys's, and it seems to her as if he sees her standing there.

Remember the Undying. Beware the perfumed seneschal.?

?By no means,? Pyat Pree said. ?Leaving and coming, it is the same. Always up. Always the door to your right. other doors may open to you. Within, you will see many things that disturb you. Visions of loveliness and visions of horror, wonders and terrors. Sights and sounds of days gone by and days to come anddays that never were.Dwellers and servitors may speak to you as you go. Answer or ignore them as you choose, but enter no room until you reach the audience chamber.?

Walder Frey - I'm probably off on the spelling.

Can't think of the family name, but I do know that the whole reason that Robb wanted an alliance with him was due to his land being the only way through north to south. - kinda

Edit:
That all reminded me, I had been meaning to find a map, to get a better idea of where a few places are. So I found one.

Edit again: Realised I should spoiler it, as it ruins Tuco's quiz.

Yep. However, it's not certain that Frey wouldn't have backstabbed him anyway. Rejecting the marriage just gave him some justification for it. Walder Frey always picks the winning side and has no real allegiance. And it makes sense since his house sits between the North and everyone else.

It was a combination of things. Bolton probably wasn't swayed until he saw Robb wasn't doing what needed to be done to win. He was losing supporters AND he renegged on his deal with Frey. The combo of these 2 things meant that Robb's chances of winning the war were lessened, which made it an easier choice for the Boltons and the Freys in the end.

If Robb had married Hottie Frey instead of Random Hottie, the Boltons and Freys probably wouldn't have had a strong enough reason to backstab.
