The showrunners changing Cersei's storyline to involve so much screentime for Lady Olenna actually telegraphs how Cersei's walk of shame actually happens. Lancel already knows everything he needs but he still hasn't turned against his house sufficiently to rat on Cersei----so it'll prolly be an epic play from granny Tyrell.
I wonder if that means we will even see Kevan come back. Possible that Lady Olenna is the one that takes over King's landing and is putting it back on track and then suddenly varys turns up to kill her. Would be much more shocking than kevan, as the audience has grown to really like Olenna.

I totally forgot about the sandsnake dorne shit. They made them look like a joke, and the combat looked so stupid.

That's a really good point. Kevan is just a one scene character right now. But why would they introduce him if they were going to replace him? Maybe just to punk readers.

Well Kevan dies anyway and Varys is in another continent---they could have the exact same death for Kevan but at the hands of Lady Olenna instead.

The season ends with house Tyrell ascendant and their arch-enemies in Dorne getting ready to receive Dany. Kinda feels like where the books were going anyway.

LF & Granny have conspired before, and they seem to want to keep LF involved in the show. If anyone knows about Lancel & Cercei, it's him.

I like the win/win situation LF has set up in the north. Keep in mind Stannis is who he fears the most and he needs him dead before he can stir up any more chaos.

It wouldn't be the same. Up until the crossbow scene when I was watching I believed that Varys worked for 'the good of the realm' but didn't know what that meant exactly. I just assumed he was working to soften the edges around all the assholes in power around him and maybe work to avert war here and there and put certain people in power. In the crossbow scene he changed completely into a saboteur working to shit on Westeros until the Targaryens got back.

Having Olenna do that to Kevan would be very different.

My only problem with this is why does Littlefinger give Sansa to Ramsey temporarily? If he wants to marry her, why let her potentially get abused/flayed/tortured by Ramsey? LF knows damn well what type of guy Ramsey is.
She's also going to be really salty if Littlefinger returns, seeing as how he basically left her there with a psycho.

Why does LF fear Stannis? If Stannis rolls over Winterfell you know he'll be happy to put Sansa in charge of Winterfell if she bends the knee. Petyr can swoop in, ally up with Sansa, enjoy Stannis' protection and then watch Stannis go blow himself up again against the Tyrells/Lannisters.

Bro anything can happen on this show, you saw how shit that sand snake fight was, for all we know LF could end up opening a Spaghetti Factory in the north and calling it a day.

Flaying is what Boltons do. I don't think the depth of Ramsay's sadism is common knowledge, though.

I'm guessing there's a damsel-in-distress subplot here: the previous two episodes made it clear that Sansa need only call for help and the former Stark servants will help her. Also, Brienne is right outside the castle. Not saying the good guys will win exactly, but I don't really see a purpose for Ramsay now that he's deflowered Sansa. Time to die. Give him a role on Hannibal =p

I half expected their wedding to be full of Northmen, and when she was asked if she takes him she'd ruck up and say, "No. If you're loyal to the Starks, seize the Boltons!". Would've been the best woman empowerment moment since Dany got the unsullied and started melting faces.

No it needs to be Kevan, because the Lannisters would probably presume it was a Tyrell that killed Kevan sparking conflict there again. If it's Olenna that is shot, I guess the Tyrells could presume it was a Lannister and the same thing could happen? But she doesn't seem interested in being in charge in KL. She hates KL.

I'd be all right with that. Every subplot doesn't need to remain grim.

Stannis would have Littlefinger swinging from a rope on day 1. LF said as much when he talked about backing Renly.

What happen to the stark who couldn't walk? haven't seen anything on him this season. Did he die and I not remember?
Bran, if I'm not mistaken his story line is caught up to the books so what happens next for him is a mystery to everyone.

Tommen just doesn't have a tendency towards violence. He should definitely have stood up to the sparrow when he took the queen, but Tommen didn't know what to do. The reality is he should have ordered the kings guard to cut down the sparrows men when they would not allow him to talk to the sparrow a couple of episodes ago.

Sansa was a bit disappointing, its like she didn't learn anything from littlefinger. Not that she really could have stood up to Ramsay but she could have tried the old " I am your wife not your whore, get reek out of here or else I will develop a permanent headache."
Thing is... the stuff that Ramsay's plaything told her where all true.. I think Sansa knows that and she has to play along a bit... would it be redundant to have the "im on top now" sex-transformation thing happen for Sansa like Dany?... we need another handmaiden! speaking of...where did she go? or did she get offed in that rich people city in s3 or 2 or whatever WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS sessions it was.

Ramsay isn't going to fall for a position change adjusting the power dynamic of their relationship. There's not a headache in the world that would have kept Ramsay off her if he wanted her. If she complained, he'd just double down.

It's not entirely relevant here, but nobles have sex in front of their servants in Westeros all the damn time. I'm pretty sure even Ned would answer the door for a servant back in book 1. It's not at all unusual. Hell, it wasn't unusual in the real world where slave servants were basically treated like house pets.
