The problem with the sand snakes is they just straight up suck. While we had awesome expectations from watch more Dorne ppl fight.
Pedro Pascal did lots of training and his selected style was wushu, which is basically almost all the old school chinese/hk wire fu you've seen, and he did great.
We rarely seen different styles of combat, from memory maybe the mini raid with greyworm/darrio/jorrah and then s1 with jorrah v the one dothraki.
But these sand snake bitches are just bumbling about with bad S&M whip play.
plus, not a single bitch looks good, wtf!

Well in the books he goes there and dies shortly after so since that doesn't really have much meat to it they may have just dropped the idea completely

Never thought of John Snow + Dani before, interesting thought. One had said they didn't know how to resurrect John? His brother is practically journeying into the underworld for reasons he doesn't even know because people that see the future tell him to. His quest could end in resurrecting John.

so far we have only seen one person in the books or the tv show with the ability to rez and he has disappeared from the show 2 seasons ago. is it possible there is somebody else who can rez, sure this is a show about magic, but unless thoros pops in they need to do some splainin about any new rezzers. if mel just shows up and she gives jon snow a 100% GM rez with no explanation about it i am going to call bullshit.

it makes much more sense in the TV verse for Mel to be able to res Jon, if grrm even ends up going that way. book 5 ends on a "cliffhanger" and from grrm interviews it seems quite clear to him that jon snow isn't actually dead, just injured, at the end of the book. but what does he know, he's only like, the author and shit.

Again, the show can do whatever it wants. Bran is up there in mystical magical land of the dead for some reason. It's either to get an ultimate weapon, that he'll then have to deliver giving us hope against the walkers and ultimately fail because that's how this series rolls, or he'll resurrect the ultimate weapon, which is John the chosen one for some reason.

or ya know, he's the bad guy. that's also a possibility. Or he exist's solely as a storytelling device now to reveal the past (like jon's true parentage, the truth about the mad king to dany, etc, etc, etc) or he can exist as a plot device to enable instantaneous communication across the realm via weirwood.net. or ya know, he could totally warg into one of dany's dragons. there's a million things that he could be, but since we know he's the most tropiest of tropes in all of fantasy literature that his story is end game. Which is why, in addition to his story being so godawful boring, they elected to skip it entirely this season until we're closer to the end, to reveal the things that he's going to reveal.

well i did think it was strange that jaime said "if i ever see my brother again i will kill him" so its entirely possible they send him to dany as a bargaining chip for myrcella, this way they kill a lannister without getting their hands dirty and myrcella gets to stay down south with her oily bf and the sand dykes.
Not really sure what Arya is going to do to help the story move along (as in terms of real impact) considering that at the pace it's going, we'd only expect her to only really begin her training as a Faceless Man as the season comes to a close.
