We don't need recaps though or comparison videos from the book to the show because we read the books and watched the show and we have a memory better than that of a gnat.

You haven't read the books and have very little memory retention.

i havent read the books in 3 years so i admit that i dont remember what was on all 5 thousand pages. its also been up to 4 years since i watched the first few seasons of GoT. maybe you read the books every week and watch the show every day, but i have a life. so now i read books once and watch tv shows one time. a 12 minute recap of both is very helpful to me.

This is actually the basis behind most of Preston's theories. He read ALL of GRRM's shit in a marathon, it broke his brain, and now he makes crazy videos. They're still fun theories and his videos are good entertainment.

The Preston videos are very well thought out and well evidenced, he stretches in places (dragon genetics has a few "oh that Velaryon wife must have had the dragon genes") but it's a fun video. They are not the same as Astrocreep's shitty recap videos.
