I don't see how Meera's actress would think she'd have much left to do in the series. She hasn't been seen in the books for just as long as Jojen, who everyone already assumed dead before he got stabbed.

Ser Friendzone and Barristan are the other two big possibilities. People think Barristan will be replaced as an advisor since Tyrion is already by Dany's side this season.

Honestly it is a crap shoot. With the exception of one of the cores like Dany or Tyrion or Arya, any of the "B" characters could be killed off on the show.

Just a suggestion, but I would prefer that spoiler tags be used when discussing rumors like that. I really don't want to hear shit like that. I know that this is the spoiler thread, but up to now it's just been book spoilers.

Sansa/lf finished all book content last season. Everything they do from ep 1 on is book spoilers from winds (or rather an approximation of it).

Can't be meera, Bran and co aren't appearing at all this season. Like sansa/lf they finished all book content too, but unlike lf arcs bran and co are boring so they got a year off of filming.

It could totally be brienne. Since she doesn't have lsh sidelining her search for a book and a half shes basically has no purpose til whatever she would of done post lsh late winds or even dream, whenever lsh dies or whatever happens to her. Plus the actress has the new star wars trilogy to work on.

GRRM has said a few times that where the show is going is not what he has planned, so whomever the show kills off, its a show move. not a book spoiler. considering the fat bastard hasnt even completed WoW yet and its likely he never will is beside the point.

he has literally never said that. he has said that the show has introduced characters he didn't write, killed character's he hasn't killed, etc, but the show and the books are both heading towards the same conclusion.

And that's because show characters are usually 2-3 book characters (in terms of roles they fill and plot they move forward etc.) But as has been stated many times- the main large "points" from beginning to end have been set up and given to the show writers and will be aligned with the books happenings. Of course GRRM could change his mind on that and just make the books completely different just to middle finger HBO or something...if he lives past the book he is "finishing" now to do so :p

It was a quote from an actor on the show about an event that hasn't happened, albeit a vague one. To me that's a spoiler. Like I said though, it's just a request, I don't make the rules.

Sounds entirely plausible. He would get 2 things out of that. It wouldn't hurt his book sales as much as if he said, "Yep. They have the drafts. This is exactly what happens" and when he dies before he finishes it, they can always allude to some great master plan he had for the Magnum Opus. But who knows if he said it. Sounds like marketing bullshit either way.

What I'm most interested in at this point is how he explains the Summer / Winter cycle. I know he's said he wasn't going to pull some mystical bullshit factor, that it was going to have an actual natural physical cause. But even though the motive for the entire show is "Winter is Coming', he basically forgets about it entirely 3/4 of the time. So I kinda think he'll never actually revisit that either. Because at this point it sure seems like the Blue Eyed Snow Zombies are the ones that cause winter... and that sounds like a mystical bullshit factor to me.

hence why Jon, Bran and Dragon girl crap is like...peppered in- its the orig stuff that was meant to be a classic fantasy type novel- but it evolved to a different direction than intended. I doubt GRMM would ever admit this..

If a legitimate leak comes out I'll worry about it. Typical hype from actors doesn't count as a leak.
