Yeah but Ghost is CGI in the show so they have to use him sparingly. And Ghost was locked up because of Wun Wun right?
Thats one annoying thing in the show... we never see Ghost. Ghost should be Jon's constant companion. I remember in the books all the NW feared Jon because of Ghost.
Yeah that was the first and so far the most shocking moment. As a reader we get this warm comfort of knowing what's going to happen, or seeing small differences and saying smugly, 'That's not how it happened IRL.'. But when the Night's King rolled up like Frost Maul with a posse 12 deep and started rezzing babies it was totally out of left field and none of us were prepared for it. It was shocking for non-readers too, but not in the same way.The first big spoiler that the show confirmed for book readers was probably the first appearance of the NK and confirming that the WW are indeed intelligent.
Nymeria (the sand snake version) is the 2nd hottest one, right? We could use more of her, too.I'm still waiting to see Nymeria again (not the retarded sandsnake). I even named my dog Nymeria irl![]()
No. People haven't been rezzed since Beric Dondarrion and Thoros. Melisandre was seen with them so briefly non-readers probably don't remember the connection between them. I'm sure there will be a 'last time on GoT' to explain it.do non book readers have any reason to suspect jon is azor or even who azor is? i mean when olly stops eyefucking jon and gets down to actually stabbing him and headnodding, will the non book readers expect him to come back from the dead? and if he is rezzed will it make sense for them?
Jon isn't dead. If he does end up Ron/Ned level dead, Gurrm changed the direction afterwards out of spite.No. People haven't been rezzed since Beric Dondarrion and Thoros. There is, however, a very real chance that Jon Snow is as dead as Robb and Eddard. People don't wnat to believe that, but it'd be the third time a Stark male has taken on the mantle of hero in the show and gotten wasted partially because of his sense of honor making him dangerous enemies..
He's still a Stark even if he's also a Targaryen, and the Lyanna/Rhaegar theory is the only theory I've seen where Ned isn't his father. But Jon is not a Stark
To me its also the most sound theory... so that means GRRM will say "NOOO!!! Now I have to come up with something no one has guessed!" and come up with some really crazy off the wall crap.. hell I think that's why he has not spat out the recent book yet. He's still a Stark even if he's also a Targaryen, and the Lyanna/Rhaegar theory is the only theory I've seen where Ned isn't his father.
i think its unlikely jon will be dead dead in the TV SHOW, for just one reason, sets are expensive and they have been re-using the same stuff for like 5 years now and since so much important shit is yet to take place over at the wall they need a pov character over there. you might say sam, well i think sam will be leaving for oldtown before too long (maybe next week?) so they gotta keep somebody on hand. i just hope that whatever they do, it makes sense.No. People haven't been rezzed since Beric Dondarrion and Thoros. Are you serious? I haven't even watched the episode, but it seems clear from the comments that HE WAS GOING TO FUCKING DIE. So yes, in fact, he's burning Shireen for King's Landing and all the rest of Westeros, not just Winterfell.stannis offering his own daughter for sacrifice for something minor like winterfelll. i can see him doing it for king's landing, or i can see a stark doing this for winterfell, but winterfell is just a one piece of the seven kingdoms, he cant rule from there and he has no claim to it other than conquest. really disappointed in how they handled that episode.
I believe she showed the leeches to show how much power came from such a little amount of blood. Sacrificing Shireen was a lot more blood and we don't know what the outcome of that is.what's odd is that last week, little miss fire witch said that she needed the blood, unless this just meant sacrifice??
Last time they collected blood via leaches, which she said she could not, so how exactly did they get the blood this time?
Well, I think it was a do or die moment for Stannis. He basically had three choices:thats whats killing this show for me, this week we had dany entering a fighting coliseum with almost no protection and stannis offering his own daughter for sacrifice for something minor like winterfelll. i can see him doing it for king's landing, or i can see a stark doing this for winterfell, but winterfell is just a one piece of the seven kingdoms, he cant rule from there and he has no claim to it other than conquest. really disappointed in how they handled that episode.
what are you responding to? i said winterfell is only one of the seven kingdoms, its a big place geographically, but otherwise its not a worthy effort in murdering your only child, he wasnt going to die, he sent davos back to the wall for supplies, we know he was just sending him away so he wouldnt try to stop stannis from killing shireen, but he also needs supplies, the red god could thaw out the weather maybe? Are you serious?
