if by "not married" you mean they didn't bang it out and consumate, then yes I think on all accounts except Tommen. If you mean otherwise then I don't know what the hell you mean.

If the resolution to the series is Danaerys (and her mostly shitty plotlines/acting both in the book and the show) showing up to Westeros and uniting the realm record time. The Realm that actively fought to not stay united through intricate plots, politics, deceit, war and character development. Have them bend the knee then wait around until they hear that the Others are actually serious business then tramp up North and squash it all within 5 episodes. I mean fuck, even during the Aegon Conquest Dorne told him to fuck off dragons and all. The idea that everyone agrees to unite with Dany in a moment's notice goes against everything the series has ever done. But there doesn't seem to be a way to avoid NOT doing that.

That will be some of the shittiest troll writing of all time.
It going like that would suck, yes, but in terms of getting Westeros to bend the knee I don't think it'll be as hard as you think

1. I think Daenarys' conquest will coincide with the white walkers breaching the wall. So instead of conquering she'll be saving.
2. We're only some ~16 years away from the rebellion that ended three centuries of Targaryen rule. The reader/viewer sees Baratheon's rule as normal, but it really isn't. In some ways it's a little unrealistic that you have this period of shitty time for Westeros and no old folks are talking about, "Things were better when the Targaryens ruled us."
3. Instead of there being 7 independent kingdoms, there is one kingdom with 7 holds. People are already bending the knee to the Baratheons, Lannisters, Tyrells and maybe the Martells by the time Daenarys rolls in.
4. There aren't a large number of tough standing armies. The North is decimated, the Westerlands are exhausted. The Stormlands are in disarray. The Reach is strong. Dorne and the Vale are strong but are isolationists.

Gavin still hasn't gotten to that part of the show(which is different than the books), so he continues to shit-post this thread while trying to catch up.

Gavin wtf are you talking about.

If Tommen dies and Kevan or Tywin are around, you'd likely see Myrcella get put on the throne and Ollena Tyrel wouldn't have enough flex to stop it.

But with Kevan/Tywin dead, you have to count on Myrcella, Cersei, Trystane or Jaime to outmaneuver the Reach. Doran could if he were in KL, but he probably isn't moving for health reasons.

That's why I'm hoping Trystane becomes a major player, so that if we have Dorne/Martells in a lot of scenes we aren't looking at Ellaria sand the entire time. KL isn't big enough for vapid cunts on the scale of Cersei and Ellaria filling screen time.

Wait how the fuck much did they bump Tommen's age up for the show? Cause he's Rickon's age in the books. They bumped everybody up a couple years but they would have had to bump Tommen up several years to make him capable of consummating a marriage.

Tommen laying mad pipe on the show, son. He's 10 on the show, but he's hung like a 12 year old.

It is also essentially how Henry Tudor ended the War of the Roses, on which this is VERY loosely based. Invaded from across the sea after years of exile, picked up a small force of loyalists, and quickly defeated Richard III at Bosworth Field (with the help of some timely betrayals), taking the throne and ushering in the Tudor dynasty by marrying Elizabeth of York. Worth noting that Henry also fought under a dragon banner (the banner of Wales).

While the divergence from history is quite extreme, the general idea of a strong claimant from across the sea showing up and wrecking shit in an already weakened country has a direct historical correlation. I've always surmised Sansa Stark would end up in that Elizabeth of York role somehow.

Well shit, yeah that changes things. If the wedding was consummated Margaery would have enough of a pretender's claim for the Tyrells to back her over Myrcella, which would lead to conflict between the Tyrells and House Martell if Tommen died.

She wouldn't be his heir anyway. If she has his child she could be regent, but the kid inherits the crown.

I'm pretty sure the claim to the throne would go to Myrcella, as "Robert's" last surviving heir, since Margaery isn't preggo.

It's more complex than that. If Tommen dies there will be a power grab. The Lannisters won't be content with just giving the throne to the Tyrells, and the Tyrells won't be content with losing it. There's no governing body here that determines who is king and queen.
