the multiplayer for this was fun as fuck, if all future GTA's have it, it will be a purchase from me i put all of 1 hour into the solo campaign, if they would have kept with the time frame they promised for updates i could still see myself playing this, fairly regularly.
IF IF IF IF they somehow managed to up the players in the persistent world to like 64, even 32 would have put it over the top, it was fun rolling with your crew in pub games but when theres 8-9 of you in a server of 16 it takes the rest of the entire server to come together to stop you from greifing.
All of a sudden since the last patch 4 or 5 days ago, I can't play fullscreen anymore (970 @ 1440p), game crashes and hangs constantly. Been having to play windowed for the past week or so, and no issues doing that. Isn't a huge deal, only take a 3-4FPS performance hit. I have no idea what that last patch did, but my PC didn't like it.
Having finally finished it, I really like the game and Trevor of course is classic. But I felt like there was a big world and not a lot of shit to do in it afterwards or to motivate me to replay it. I wanted a bit more stories too, or at least people to run missions for. Saints Row really excels at this and continues to up the ante with each installment to make it entertaining whereas in GTA I'm towing cars with a crack-whore, playing cab driver, finding space ship parts, celebrity garbage, etc... I was really disappointed at the lack of any type of boxing/mma ring despite advertising them on the radio in-game. The shooting range in 2015 could be a bit more cool and modern too, especially since LA is home to a few really nice futuristic ranges.
Main story, graphics, sound, etc.. were all top notch and I was really skeptical about having to play 3 characters at once but it works almost flawlessly. The only downside is I miss a bit of story from the other 2 points of view. Trevor needs his own DLC eventually. I also still don't entirely understand why
Michael wasn't just tossed in jail. What did he give the government that justified the money and protection he was receiving?
No. It's just a big lobby of blue circles. It doesn't make up for the lack of things to do in the giant world during single player. That's why I mentioned how other games like SR have utilized their worlds way better. GTA is stagnant in that regard.

Half of "online" is nothing more than the most glorified lobby in gaming history. I tried it for one day but the god awful nonstop loading(even on a good SSD) was just too much and switched over to play the story.
Welp, I've found out I'm shit at mobile device games. The dog ifruit app is the first one I've ever played and I don't think I can get used to the input device (my thumbs) occluding the display.
I decided that multiplayer in this game is stupid, so now I'm replaying story mode, but this time I'm modding the game with anything interesting that I can find. I've come across a bug though. I don't know that it's related to any mods, but trevor cannot leave his garage in any vehicle it would seem. I purchased a Sandking truck for him last night and tried many times to have him leave with it. The game shows him exiting, but hangs on that loading screen when you leave a garage forever. Then tonight I purchased a motorcycle online and it's doing the same thing. Anyone seen this? My google skills aren't turning up much. Looks like a similar bug existed in 2013, but that was long before the PC version, which is what I'm playing.
I'm no help with that, but a month into playing the game, I still randomly crash every 2-3 hours. Screen just locks up and I have to ctrl-alt-del force the program close, and restart it. Very annoying when it happens mid-mission or race.
The helicopter controls in this game are pants on head retarded along with the sway.
I love flying the little bird in BF but not here. I bought an Xbox one controller hoping that would help. It makes going forward easier since I don't have to keep dragging my mouse down all day but it made aiming waaaaaay worse. And correcting for the sway just fucks it up further.
Edit: I'll admit that the BF controls are also pretty unrealistic since I can make the mouse do pitch and yaw instead of roll and that's way easier to do fine tune aiming adjustments than a real chopper.
