My friend is a huge griller and he picked up (and got me a copy also) ofBobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction. This was a a year or so ago and he's made dozens of the recipes at this point and every single one has been fan-fucking-tastic. Highly recommended if you like to grill.Going to be hosting a house-warming cookout at my house in a few weeks.
Doing the standard hot dogs, hamburgers, marinated chicken, steak tips, linguica - probably some corn, although I've never grilled corn.
What are some other things we can look into that might be a bit different? No seafood, no one really likes it. Preferably something I can make on the grill that won't take forever. I think I've hit every major meat category, but just looking for ideas.
I have. Did you want to know something in particular?Anyone ever made a table top bbq to cook skewers on for an outdoor party? It's something I'm considering for an upcoming event, and I know there are plans out there with fire bricks and so forth, but anyone here ever done it?
I've always thought something like this would be absolutely badass, but a tad impractical most of the time:Anyone ever made a table top bbq to cook skewers on for an outdoor party? Plus it would take like 3 bags of charcoal to get that thing going.Seems like it would be annoying to sit that close to the grill.
Maybe it is the McCheese family reunionPlus it would take like 3 bags of charcoal to get that thing going.
Also each person in that pic is apparently having a porterhouse the size of their head and then following it up with a couple chicken breasts, 3 or 4 brats, and some veggie kabobs.

Would cost a goddamned fortune in charcoal to get that thing completely fired up.
Even brining it wouldn't be enough.I figured soaking in juices for 12hours would make it moist as fuck. I am disappoint.
Steak salad, steak sandwich are my go-tos. For the salad I don't mind cold, for the sandwich I make a quick sauce, toast the bun, make the sandwich and let it sit for a couple of minutes for the heat to evenly distribute. No fat or connective tissue will defeat the purpose of crock pot meat.
What do people usually do with leftover steak? I want to eat it as is because it's at the perfect doneness, but I don't want to eat it cold. Heating it up will ruin the doneness.
