Not sure whats available to you up in the NE. But if you can get Carnitas shoulder cut (way way better than cutting pork shoulder yourself and costs nothing) slow cooker that shit up with a bunch of cumin/pepper/onion/etc and it'll be heaven.Looking to turn up my taco game here. I'm pretty boring when it comes to tacos.. Just meat and cheese. No lettuce. No guacamole. No tomatoes. No onions
What else can I add? Peppers? Some awesome sauce that isn't old El paso?

Poblanos are my favorite pepper in terms of flavor and just the right amount of heat. So I highly recommend using them. I've been making carnitas/kimchi tacos the past few weeks and kept making them because they're god damn delicious. Blend up some salsa verde and its awesome. Or just some srirarcha. See below. Flour tortillas because I'm white as fuck. But am slowly seeing how superior corn ones are.
