Costco meat isn’t that cheap anymore either. You'd be lucky to even find wings in stock at any of my local grocers. Fresh or frozen. They just dont exist anymore apparently.
Also, about cheap "choice" steaks. I've stopped buying beef entirely. The last few times I bought on sale (7.99/lb porterhouse for instance) the steaks were fucking terrible. Barely edible. Like they came from dollar general. Even though they were labeled USDA choice. USDA Prime doesnt exist outside of high end restaurants anymore as far as I can tell. Never see it for sale anywhere these days
Inflation is bad enough but the quality has nosedived as well. I'm going to re-up my Costco membership just so I can get decent meat.

Not sure if this is the right thread or not, but couldn't find anything better. My Mother has had this cooking dish for 60 years or so. It's seen it's share of use as can be seen. Now, I've washed and scrubbed it with regular dishwashing liquid but I can't get it any cleaner. My Mother would like to throw it away but I've always liked it. Anyone know if there is a way to clean it up. Doesn't have to be spotless, just cleaner than it is.

Not really sure. Some sort of ceramic, or glass.

Corningware! I think that's exactly what it is. I just couldn't remember what the hell it was called. You only see it in a grandmother's pantry or at a garage sale nowadays.Try this
Reena Nerbas: How to restore stained CorningWare dishes
Dear Reena: We have two CorningWare casserole dishes that were bought used. They are stained and I am wondering if you have a suggestion as to how these stains might be removed. Anon.www.timescolonist.com
