Careful with GD stash, I am a man of extreme resolve and mental toughness relative to the normal mere mortals of this world but twice I have quit GrimDawn because i downloaded that fucking thing to make one minor tweak and ended up err tweaking a few things and then feeling completely empty that I cheated and quit the game. Sad panda indeed...

Might try one last time since Last Epoch has a hard wipe before release and Wolcen while fun is so-so and GD fucking rocks.

Yea i'm not gonna use any mods or editors or anything. I found a shield that adds like 1400 electrocute dmg to stun jacks and put enough points to level up the buff to it that adds electrocute and internal trauma, I think are the two, and now i'm maxing the base skill, so it at least lets me add another dot and a small nuke into my boss damage. I was mostly just hoping they'd let me not have to run around like a madman for 10-45seconds any time a strong monster shows up when I originally went for it.

I feel like i'm gonna end up so overleveled before I finish normal difficulty (playing on veteran and just full clearing, not repeating zones for the most part other than farming some dynamite to unlock side areas shortly after I got to act 2).

I used the version that was made for Titan Quest, but only used it for extra storage. Recommend doing it that way.

Yeah I did that too and it ruined GD for me. I was building all sorts of OP shit and playing it god mode, lol. Now every time I return I end up doing the same. Its like a game in itself, how fucking OP can you make a character. It always starts with a xp pot, or some faction thing or whatever, then youre in it full blown.

Is there any way to try and target farm specific drops or items in this? I found a pretty baller sword for what I'm doing and really want another one to fix up my DPS some - do I just gotta megafarm and play the lotto and pray?

Certain bosses have specific items called Monster Infrequents (MIs) which are green. For the other stuff it is one big loot table to my knowledge. They added transmuting a while ago because it can be really difficult trying to finish a set. With transmuting you can transform a set item into any other random set and hope you get it. You can also transmute a set item within its own set. So if you have multiple boots from a set, you can transmute those to get some other item within the same set. So it’s very random / pray, with some ways to mitigate it. The most effective way is to craft something from a set and transmute. That does have the requirement that you know the recipe for an item in that set though.

Final chests in the skeleton key zones usually have a % chance of dropping specific recipes as well.

As far as legendaries, no you can't farm specific items. The one exception is the Krieg's set, which is a great set for an aether death knight.

The celestial bosses have their own drops. Ravager, Clone, Lokarr, Mogdrogen and Callagadra.

What the hell, I fired the game up today and it had a small patch and now I don't have a button on my inventory or stash to complete components any more...

From the patch notes:

All partial Components have been removed from the game. Existing partial Components have turned into completed Components. No changes to drop rates have occurred alongside this change.

Ah I didn't read the patch notes. I guess i'll deal with the hassle of manually merging the 80ish stacks of individual components it looks like I have in my stash now (1,1,1,22 type stacks for basically every component type I've found) and hope that they stack on their own from that point forward.

According to that patch note, there shouldn't be any partials anymore. You should have all completed components, so just hit the "reorganize my tab" button and you should be golden.

Disclaimer: I'm not in the game to see if that patch note is actually true.
