MoS was a good movie, it was supermans first time being....superman. I like this take on it because it builds into him never taking life and trying to avoid casualties...The man has got to learn from his mistakes, and im guessing thats why the detective has come to school him.

Well I finally got around to watching this about a week ago. I had every intention of seeing it in the theater over the summer but it never ended up happening. I really wish I had gotten around to seeing it sooner. It really was great.

About 10 minutes in I realized the source of the familiar vibe I was getting from the movie.

I guess because of the music and the tounge-in-cheekyness it reminded me so much of the outer space vignette from Heavy Metal.

The part where their ship entered the titan's head had a very Heavy Metal vibe too it.

the whole star lord thing and his ship reminded me of spaceballs, which i guess makes that a han solo+millenium Falcon reference. im surprised star lord never called his ship the Falcon.

I'm not saying she wasn't hot. I remember her being super hot and super naked in some Outer Limits episode on Showtime years and years ago.
