Matter of opinion, but I think it is on par, just more peaks and valleys and less focus on Harley and Poison Ivy, more on Bat Family and apparently now Joker. Clayface and King Shark are being criminally underused, though.

I would call the current season "disjointed" as each episode is all over the place between what characters/plot are the focus.

Season was pretty good. Joker as a Bernie Sanders type mayor is great. I also liked the exploration of Bruce Wayne and how absolutely fucked up he is psychologically.

The special was a bit of a mixed bag, but there were some genuinely funny moments, so I am happy overall.

Bane continues to the best character on the show.
