My personal preference is bright vibrant colors, bright without destroying the blacks, and very sharp. If that's not 100% color accurate really doesn't matter to me much if the drawback is a very dim screen.
Thats probly why I love my Sony KDL-65W850A so much it fulfills all those categories with the added benefit of no input lag for gaming.
Tri luminous makes anything look insane.
I'm going back to Frys tonight to have them crank up the brightness to max using some settings I found on the internet, and see how much the PQ suffers. Also going to see a F8500 at Best Buy.
When I google for "VT60 is very dim", the people all say go with the F8500.
Obviously, I would love the VT to win out because of the cost saving.
On Plex, I still have my HD roku box, and it looks great, but would rather just have everything from the TV itself.
